Ulyanovsk State Medical University is a public, medical research University, found in Ulyanovsk, Russia. The university, one of the major universities in that region, enrolls some 16, 000 students in six Universities offering sixty-eight majors and claims extensive international ties. Ulyanovsk State Medical University was one of the first amongst MBBS in Russian Universities to join Bologna process and started to reform the Doctoral, Master's and Bachelor's standards of medical degrees.

At the moment there are 1490 students studying in Ulyanovsk State University in the field of "Medicine" and "Pediatrics" in the 17 departments the Faculty of drugs. Over the lifetime of the Faculty of Medical Sciences graduated 2692 specialists.
